The Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team (GFICC) at J.P. The Role

Summary

As a High Yield Investor Support Vice President you will provide investor support for the Indianapolis-based Global High Yield investment management team. You will work closely with the Portfolio Management team to support portfolio management implementation, client materials, and operational initiatives of the Global High Yield team.

 

Job Responsibilities

•      Analyze portfolios and create review materials for team discussion

•      Collaborate with senior Portfolio Managers in preparation of client call materials and analyses

•      Allocate secondary trades across 40+ accounts

•      Set-up and allocate primary market securities

•      Assist Portfolio Managers in managing account inflows, outflows and account fundings

•      Generate and update model portfolios

•      Analyze performance and attribution across portfolio investments

•      Miscellaneous project-oriented tasks

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

•      Five years experience in a portfolio support or client service role

•      Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

•      Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on detail orientation

•      Proficient-to-advanced experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

•      Undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a background in a business discipline

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

•      Fixed income experience preferred
